Monday was our down day...and a rainy day. It was also a stripe week at Ella Kate's karate school...she now has 2 stripes on her yellow belt. I believe testing was this weekend. She didn't test, but she will next time for orange. So Monday the girls were getting restless...I busted out some beads and they made necklaces, bracelets, and key chains...and now we are finding beads all over the place!
Wednesday we went to Robert Lake Park in Black Mountain, NC. I want to retire in Black Mountain...the mountains are the biggest on this side of the river. It is beautiful. It is also very small and quaint! I got the girls dressed and packed a picnic and told them to get in the car for a surprise! They screamed with delight when they found out it was a playground. Not just a playground...but a playground with creeks. The different play structures where divided by creeks with mountain water flowing through. Double score for them! It was cooler too...I had goose bumps. So I decided not to put them in their swimsuits...bad idea for Addison.
Another cool thing about Asheville...recycling is everywhere. These are also bear proof. Everywhere you go, there is a recycling bi as well!
Shortly after the above picture Addison dipped her booty in the water. So she went home with wet shorts!
