Month in Review for Claire

Well, since my last post, I am in the process of planting 90,117 pansies around Memphis, not including at my house, where I planted 9 flats last week. Its been crazy buzy and my buddy Patrick who helped me do the planting last year isn't at Adsit anymore...so it is me and the Mexicans. The owner said he would stay out of my way cause he knows he just messes things up. I got some good praise from the palone last Monday. He came up to me and he said "You are doing one helluva job at planting...you sure know what you are doing!" I said thanks and then asked for a raise. wha?

Besides planting, I have finished my parents design...which we are installing Saturday. I took EK to the stockyard yesterday to pick out a prized Japanese Maple. EK had fun at the nursery..she called everything trees. I told her one day, if she hung out with her parents enough...she will probably know the common and scientific names of all these "trees".

I have had a stream of designs come in for the month and just finished the last one, an Herb garden at Owen Brennan's Restaurant.

I have two more to go, some minor changes to our backyard and a small plan for my sister's house. Don't worry Holly haven't forgotten, just crazy busy.

Besides landscaping, we have finished moving all the furniture around for the "Poole Big Switch." I got paint and a couple of lamps for the new bedroom. When pansy season is over I will begin to paint and get all that madness under control.

We have a camping trip planned in November! First one of the year!

That's about all that is going on with me! One and a half more weeks of pansies!!

Oh I forgot...the old TV is now sitting in the garage and the new flat screen is hanging on the wall! Sony is on our boycott list from now on...no more Sony products will be bought with our cash monies!
