Zoo Trip 09

Michael and I got Ella Kate and ourselves a zoo membership for Christmas...and we decided last Thursday with a whopping 25 degree chill in the air...to pack our junk and head to the zoo...and we had an absolute ball! We were the only ones there and all though we didn't get to see the cats...and some other animals...we enjoyed it!

I believe Michael and I had on our regular clothes and our bibs and puff coats and Ella Kate had on 4 layers and a big coat and mittens. We sweated when we went inside for the birds, fish, and dragons.

I'd say Ella Kate liked the alligators the most. Our favorite part was the Teton Trek. So we are looking forward to a year full of zoo trips! Michael and I have been trying to go since September...and then it rained a ton...and then I spent October planting pansies....and then November hit and it rained. So, that was the first opportunity we had and we did it!
