Do you want to know one of the most annoying things is...at least for me? Fist Bumping. I have this contractor guy that is a big fist bumper. Every time I see him he says ooo put her there Claire. I kinda give him my go to heck look and slowly bump his fist. One time I was about to leave a property and I wanted him to know I was leaving so I waved over in his direction, he was on a 36" riding lawn mower, he turned the thing off, got out, and ran over to me and said put her there Claire. I decided from that moment on, I am no longer fist bumping people. If I have to do it again, I might just use my left hand and actually hit someones fist with my diamond ring...its sharp.
I am much more of a high fiver.
My college friends and I created the Yay phenomenon. We lived in one of those townhouses that had one connecting town house. For the longest time we would just wave and do the typical neighborly thing. Then we sat down and partied with them one night and became good friends. Anyway, Starkville has low crime and all that, leave your doors and windows open etc. So both of our houses were kept unlocked and somehow in all the madness that consisted in those two houses...every time someone came through the door they got a LOT of folks screaming Yay and clapping. It actually became quite hilarious when people who weren't use to it came in and got 5 or 6 people screaming Yay...it kinda felt like you were up on stage...people cheering for you. Langley - you remember those days? Some people loved it, some people just kinda shied away...probably thinking...what in the world is wrong with those people...
Anyway...I still do that when Michael gets home. I am trying to get Ella Kate to do it too. She just claps.
YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Michael is home due to the rain!! I must prepare!
