Whoa!

Well, its been a busy couple of weeks for us! Haven't had much time to do much blogging or take pictures. July's weather has been incredible and we have spent much of our time out doors. Wagon rides, strolling, swinging, picnicking.

Ella Kate's vocabulary is doubling by the day. She is voicing more of her wants and needs. She understands more words now and maybe can't say them but can do the command. I think she is in the beginning of a nap being dropped...not the morning one though, for the last week she has sat in her crib and played for her afternoon nap. I am going to give her another week with two naps and then maybe maybe drop that morning one.

We have been talking about the potty, and what goes down in that. She sometimes will announce when she is going to poop...which is kinda funny. So last week I bought her a toilet trainer thing and we have been sitting on it before bath time. I am in no means pushing her, but just getting her use to it. She has some interest in the potty...so why not start that fun up!

She can also march when you tell her to march and jump when you tell her to jump. She has also started putting trash in the trash can and leaving it for the most part. She did have an empty bag of Ruffles this morning and little bits of chips in between her toes.

Anyways...I started this post and then my computer went out and now I am finishing it. I can't upload any pictures for about 2 weeks until Greg can get out here and replace the reader. So that's fun. My parents closed on the new house on Monday and moved in the same day. EK and I went out there Wednesday to see how it was going and to give them a house warming present.

I did manage to get a couple pictures of the kid up...and eating spaghetti!

She had a ball, but is still kinda little...she got knocked down a couple of times by the bigger kids, but it didn't phase her!
